New Fixed Rate Buy-To-Let Mortgage
Stroud & Swindon, the UK’s 15th largest building society, have launched a new range of very competitive mortgage products.
The two new highly competitive mortgage products include:
- A two-year fixed rate deal at 4.74% until 31 August 2009.
- A one-year discount mortgage at 3.05% below the standard variable rate – currently standing at 4.49%
Both products are available with a loan-to-value ratio of 90% and consumers interested in these mortgages can apply via the company website, Stroud & Swindon Branches or agencies.
These mortgages are available to consumers wishing to purchase a home or to remortgage to the Society from their existing mortgage lender. In addition, consumers who use these products to remortgage their home will have their legal and valuation fees paid by the Society.

- Moves to 0.5% discount from the buy-to-let SVR at the end of the fixed rate period

- Valuation fees paid by applicant on application on house purchase
- Free valuation fees are available on remortgages
- Legal fees are payable on house purchase
- Discounted legal fees are available for remortgages
- Subject to completion fees (2.5%)
- No reservation fees
- Early redemption charge of 2% is applicable for the first two years
- Minimum (£30,000) and Maximum (£250,000) loans apply to house purchase and remortgage.
- A maximum loan (£250,000) applies to portfolios and additional borrowing requires a minimum loan of £5,000.
