New Sales Director for Building Society
Paul Chafer has been appointed as the new Sales Director for the Stroud & Swindon Building Society.
He joins the Society from the Royal Mail where he was Head of Sales. Previous to that Paul was Head of Retail at the Staffordshire Building Society and was instrumental in the development of Portman Direct when the two building societies merged in 2004.
In his new role Paul will be responsible for developing the sales and marketing of Stroud & Swindon’s mortgage, savings and insurance products and for expanding new business opportunities.
Born in Scunthorpe, Paul started work when he was 18 in the local Nat West Bank where he stayed for three years before moving on to the bank’s Insolvency and Debt Recovery team in Telford.
Paul now lives in Bridgnorth with his wife and 13 week old daughter.
