Customer Advisor - Dursley - North Region

We are looking for a committed person to promote and sell our wide range of financial products to customers within the branch and over the telephone. To succeed you will need a professional approach with customer service, sales and office administration experience. Building society or banking experience, including cash handling, is desirable.

So, if you have a flair for sales and recognise just how important customer service is, this could be the role for you.

We currently have a vacancy in our Dursley Branch for a full time customer adviser, plus some Saturday mornings. The ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to cover in any of the region's other branches on occasion.

Job Salary: £12,162 - £15,098 plus Saturday morning payments.

Branch Manager - South Region - Lydney, Gloucestershire

Mortgage AdvisersNorth & South Region

Your main responsibility will be to close sales opportunities both from self-generated leads and those received from Customer Advisers; with particular emphasis on mortgage and insurance sales interviews, during which you will identify customer needs and match them with appropriate solutions, paying full attention to legislation and regulation requirements.

You will also coach lead generators and deliver sales campaigns to new and existing customers via mail and telephone.

It is essential that you already have the CeMAP qualification.

We are looking for a Mortgage Adviser in both the North & South Regions of the branch network.

Job Salary: £18,198 - £22,672

Job Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

With a proven flair for sales, drive to exceed targets and an excellent track record of supervision within a service environment, you will also be able to identify opportunities to sell Society products face-to-face and over the telephone and have the ability to coach lead generators.

Mortgage & Investment Consultant

If you get a real buzz out of working hard to achieve goals and targets, this could be the exciting new role for you. We are looking for Mortgage & Investment Consultants to join the team in our Customer Contact Centre in Gloucester.

Talking to new and existing customers on the phone, you’ll listen to their needs and help where you can or refer them to specialist colleagues to ensure their needs are met. You will respond to queries regarding savings, new mortgages and additional borrowing. You will also act as a liaison between the customer and other departments within the Society.

Sales experience is essential; a background in financial services would be useful too. You’ll need to have good keyboard skills and knowledge of Word and Excel. Last but not least you must have the flexibility to join a rota to cover shifts of 8am to 8pm.

Job Salary:
£13,390 - £16,480
