| Laurence James – Chairman |
 Laurence has been a member of the Board since 1996 and was appointed as Chairman in April 2007. After graduating with a degree in Statistics from the University of Bath, Laurence joined W H Smith and developed a career in marketing and sales, culminating in him becoming Retail Sales Director. Since leaving W H Smith he has worked for the Pearson Group as Managing Director of Ladybird Books and now has his own retailing business.
He is married with two children and lives in Gloucestershire. |

| John Sutherland – Chief Executive |
 John joined the Society as Chief Executive in February 2010. He is also a director of the Society’s mortgage subsidiary, ITL Mortgages Limited. John has spent over 20 years in senior management at Nationwide Building Society, latterly as Executive Director, Sales & Marketing, a main Board position. Prior to working for Nationwide he spent 14 years in various roles at Lloyds Bank. His career at Nationwide included roles managing marketing, operations and the branch network.
John lives in Wiltshire. |

Simon Whitwham – Customer Service Director

 Simon joined the Society in November 2001 and is responsible for the Society’s Customer Service Centre, Lending Centre and Business Information Systems functions.
A History and Politics graduate, Simon was previously Mortgage Underwriting and Processing Manager at the Coventry Building Society, developing mortgage processing capabilities and customer service standards.
He is a director of the Society’s mortgage subsidiary, ITL Mortgages Limited.
Married with one child, Simon lives in Gloucestershire. |

Linda Will – Sales and Marketing Director
|

 Linda Will joined the Society as Sales and Marketing Director in July 2008.
She has a wealth of experience within the financial services sector, latterly as Managing Director of Accord Mortgages, Yorkshire Building Society's intermediary only subsidiary company. Linda was responsible for the launch of Accord in 2002 and its growth in becoming a significant and award winning intermediary lender. |
