Stroud and Swindon Launches New ‘Fee Saver’ Fixed Rate Mortgage
Stroud & Swindon, today announced the launch of a new ‘fee saver’ two-year fixed rate mortgage deal at 5.75% until 31 July 2009.
Under the ‘fee saver’ deal, this product has no reservation or completion fees. Consumers interested in this mortgage can apply via the company website (
www.stroudandswindon.co.uk), Stroud & Swindon Branches or agencies.
The ‘fee saver’ mortgage is available to consumers wishing to purchase a home or to remortgage from their existing mortgage deal. In addition, consumers who use this product to remortgage their home will have their solicitor and valuation fees paid by the Society.

- Early repayment charges are 2% until 31/07/09
- Minimum loan (£16,000) and maximum loan (£500,000) on house purchase
- Minimum loan (£26,000) and maximum loan (£500,000) on remortgages
- Minimum loan (£1,000) on additional borrowing
- 90% Loan to value
- Free valuations and Basic Legal Fees for remortgages up to £600,000
- Valuations and Legal Fees payable on house purchases
- Customers pay no reservation or completion fees when switching products
- When switching products and borrowing additionally, there is no reservation charge and the completion fee is £120
- Customers looking only to borrow additionally will be required to pay a £120 completion fee.
