New Finance Director for Building Society

We are pleased to announce that Kit Beazley has joined Stroud and Swindon Building Society as Finance Director on 26 April 2006.

Kit was previously at Zurich Financial Services, where he was most recently responsible for capital and treasury management, credit management and accounting operations across their UK businesses.

Kit qualified with Price Waterhouse in London, and also spent some time in their consultancy practice. He then worked for Chartered Trust in Cardiff, before moving to ZFS. Chartered Trust was a consumer finance operation, previously part of Standard Chartered Bank and now part of LloydsTSB’s Asset Finance Division.

In his ten years there, his roles included financial planning, treasury management, Chief Accountant and Head of Strategy.

Stroud and Swindon Building Society aims to build on its successful record of growth and efficiency, delivering excellent service and value to its members.

Kit’s experience of financial management in major international financial services companies brings valuable expertise to the Society’s board, and his appointment completes the building of a strong Executive leadership team to achieve the Society’s aims.
