New Non-Executive Director Joins Stroud & Swindon Building Society
A Cheltenham Solicitor has been selected as the newest non–executive director of the Stroud & Swindon Building Society.
John Clarke is the head of Rickerby’s Employment team and specialises in Education, Employment and Charities law. He has been the firm’s Senior Partner since 1997.
Since qualifying as a solicitor, John has among other achievements, attained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education Law and served as a School Governor and Health Authority Non-Executive Director. He writes and lectures for a number of employment and educational bodies both regionally and nationally. John is a member of the Education Lawyers Association, Employment Lawyers Association and the Charity Law Association.
Although originally from London, he has lived in Gloucestershire for many years and is the Company Secretary or advisor to a number of schools, colleges and charities in the area.
